I wouldn't really wear the turtle armor itself, and i'd stick with titanium. Outwardly, the complete set looks like a tortoiseshell armor with spikes.

Dmg and 11 less defense but i don't see that as such a big deal. So i can't really see the spectre armor being better than hallowed. Beetle shell has less melee bonuses, but is tanky enough to survive a direct hit from a dungeon guardian.

Posted by 1 year ago. Beetle armor is less of an upgrade, and more of a specialization in my opinion. If you beat prime with titanium/hallowed, i'd go for turtle, only because it's a precursor to beetle armor.

It consists of a daedalus breastplate and daedalus leggings as well as five … so they did. Turtle is a better tanking armor, while chlorophyte has superior damage capabilities. I haven't tried it yet so i don't know how homing orbs work but stat wise, the hallowed set beats spectre by a mile.

Hallowed has higher melee power with lower defense, but the crystal leaf from chlorophyte armor set makes up for it in some ways as it can attack through anything. 14% increased melee damage, 12% increased melee critical strike chance, +750 aggro, and 15. It has 40 more mana boost, reduces mana usage by 7% more, has 7% more crit strike chance and same boost to movement speed.

Also to know is, what armor has the most defense in terraria? Shroomite, i personally don't like. The materials needed are 16 luminite bars which is about 64.
